The Significance of Zakariya al-Razi's Ideas in the Harmonious Upbringing of Youth

This article analyzes the ethical and philosophical views of the great thinker, physician, and philosopher Abu Bakr al-Razi, and examines their significance in educating contemporary youth. Drawing upon the scholar's prominent work “Al-Tibb al-Ruhani”, the author reveals the negative consequences of spiritual and physical vices such as arrogance, selfishness, envy, anger, dishonesty, and gluttony. The paper systemizes al-Razi’s methods for restraining the nafs (desires), relying on intellect, and moderating human behavior. The findings of the study serve to substantiate the practical relevance of the thinker’s heritage in shaping an intellectually and spiritually mature generation in New Uzbekistan
