Abstract

This article examines measures for the reclamation of saline lands and the improvement of soil productivity in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The study focuses on the assessment of soil salinity, the causes and extent of soil degradation, and the application of effective reclamation and agrochemical measures to restore soil fertility. Particular attention is given to irrigation and drainage management, leaching of saline soils, improvement of soil structure, and the use of organic and mineral fertilizers. The implementation of scientifically based land reclamation practices can contribute to improving soil quality, increasing agricultural productivity, and ensuring the sustainable use of agricultural land in the region
