Abstract

This article explores the theoretical and methodological foundations of improving customs control of international supply chains in the context of the modern global economy. Definitions of "supply chain" and "customs control" by global and local scholars are systematically and comparatively analyzed, identifying existing scientific gaps and limitations. The study employs systemic, integrated, digitalization, and risk management approaches. Based on the analysis, a new author's definition is proposed, integrating state regulation mechanisms, risk management, and digital technologies. The practical significance of the paper lies in providing a theoretical framework for developing models to digitally transform customs administration and enhance supply chain security in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
